This story began in a small town in Germany called Bavaria. After doing their first work in their mother's kitchen, Adi and Rudi Dassler brothers signed with a shoe store named "Gebrüder Dassler" in 1924. Their job was to provide their athletes with the best shoes for the gold medal in Amsterdam and the awards in Berlin.

These two brothers earned their trust by listening to the athletes and knowing what they wanted. Lina Radke wore his shoes and won a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928.

When the dates showed on August 18, 1949, Adi Dassler was 49 years old and opened a shoe store called "Adi Dassler Adidas Sportchuhfabrik". He started his journey with 47 workers in a small town of the city of Herzogenaurach. In the same year, he made the famous 3-stripe shoe model that we know now.
