According to globally accepted research, people are comfortable in a certain temperature and humidity range and in clean air environments. This range is defined as the “Comfort Zone” (humidity 60% to 30%, temperature 20 to 27 0C). It is clear that it is uncomfortable to have too much or too little temperature. In addition to the fact that low humidity level causes discomfort such as dry throat and burning in the eyes, excessive humidity causes sweat not to evaporate, a sweltering feeling of warmth and a desire to sleep. In addition, the air of the environment must be clean and fresh, dust, smoke, pollen and other harmful substances must be filtered and a gentle air circulation is required to bring the clean air and remove the polluted air at a speed that people cannot notice.

Air conditioning is not just cooling. Air conditioners are systems that provide air conditioning in spaces. Air conditioning is keeping the indoor air at the desired temperature, humidity, air circulation, cleanliness and freshness. Keeping some, if not all, of these under control can also be defined as air conditioning.
