HOW TO GROW STRAWBERRY IN POTS?

Pot Selection: One of the points to be considered while growing strawberries is the choice of pot. The suitable pot depth for growing strawberries is 20-25 centimeters. For this reason, long and yellow pots are generally preferred. However, you can also use round pots if you wish.

The thing you should not forget at this stage is that after your plant begins to bear fruit, the fruit should never come into contact with the soil. In other words, as the plant grows, the fruits hang down from the edge of the pot. This is an indication that your strawberry has grown correctly. Soil Selection: For growing strawberries, soil rich in organic matter should be chosen. Also known as 'peat soil'. Be sure to use peat soil for the first planting process. After the plant begins to bear fruit, enrich the soil with fertilizer. In this way, you can grow more productive strawberries.

HOW MANY DAYS CAN THE STRAWBERRY BE WATERED IN THE POTS?

You should water your strawberries at intervals of 7-10 days in the spring and 4-5 days in the summer months, or in drip irrigation, you should provide continuous dripping, except for rainy days.
