William Scott "Bill" Goldberg December 27, 1966; Tulsa, Oklahoma is better known by his ring name Bill Goldberg. As an American professional wrestler, he is best known for his undefeated streak in World Championship Wrestling from September 1997 to January 2001. He also wrestled for World Wrestling Entertainment from March 2003 to March 2004. He became the first wrestler to win the World Heavyweight Championship, known as the Big Gold Belt, in both WCW and WWE.

Before becoming a professional wrestler, Goldberg was a college and professional football player. He also served as the announcer for the now-closed mixed martial arts promotion EliteXC. Spear and Jackhammer are his most important moves. His match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX is cited as his worst match. 12 years later, in 2016, he appeared on Raw to respond to Brock Lesnar's manager, Paul Heyman. He wrestled with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2016 and the match lasted 1 minute and 25 seconds. Bill Goldberg won the match. Goldberg faced Kevin Owens on Fastlane 2017, winning the match in 22 seconds, becoming the first former WCW wrestler to win the new Universal Championship title.
