The light passing through the diaphragm has to pass through two mirrors at this stage. While one of them is a convex mirror, the other is a concave mirror. The foci of these two mirrors are coincident with each other. Therefore, blurring of the image is prevented. The focal lengths of the two mirrors determine the area you can see.

For example, if you use a lens with a low focal length, you will find that you can see from a fairly wide angle. Likewise, if you increase the focal length between two mirrors, you will have narrower angles, since you will affect the refraction of the light in the opposite way.

After this stage, the task of the lenses is completed. After that, it's all about the body of the machine. Light successfully passing through both mirrors then hits a flat mirror positioned diagonally. From here, it enters a section whose inner surfaces are covered with mirrors.
