The ear, which is one of the organs of the human body, has a specific structure. The parts and functions of the ear, which serves as the hearing and balance organ, are of great importance.

The ear is an anatomical structure that functions as hearing and contains the balance organ. Sound waves pass through the outer ear and hit the eardrum and make it vibrate. When the sound reaches the middle ear, it is amplified by the ossicles in the middle ear and transmitted to the inner ear. Sound waves coming to the inner ear are also received by the hair cells here and transmitted to the auditory nerve. It is transferred to the auditory center in the brain by the auditory nerve. This is how hearing happens.

There are many parts of the ear in the structure of the ear. The functions of these parts are different from each other. The structure of the ear consists of three parts. These are the outer ear, middle ear and inner ear. Along with these, the semicircular canals, snail, auditory nerve, ear bones, auricle, ear canal, eardrum, diving and eustachian tube are the parts of the ear structure.
