Frogs belong to the amphibian class. As can be understood from the word amphibian, frogs have two kinds of lives. For this reason, frogs' juvenile and adult states are completely different from each other.
Looking at the life cycle of frogs, it is seen that they first hatch in water. Tadpoles that hatch from eggs have the ability to live in water before undergoing metamorphosis. In other words, frogs have gills and fins just like fish before metamorphosis. As it passes through the stages of metamorphosis, the structure of the frog changes and it becomes a creature suitable for living on land.
During the frog's transition from water to land, its tail begins to shorten, its legs begin to form, and its lungs begin to develop so that it can take in oxygen on land.
In addition, the frog is a cold-blooded animal that has characteristics between reptiles and fish. For this reason, frogs are creatures that spend part of their lives in water and part of their lives on land.
