It is personal protective equipment used against chemical gases that are harmful to human health and reduce working performance in an environment with a chemical gas mask.

The chemical protective mask is used with the appropriate gas filters determined as a result of the correct analysis of the risks. Many different filters are available: carbon oxide, nitrogen oxides, all subject to different filtration applications.

How to use a gas mask?

First of all, a gas mask can only be used in an environment with sufficient oxygen. If the working environment has an oxygen content of less than 20%, a chemical protective gas mask cannot be used.

In such low oxygen work areas, systems that supply fresh air supplemented oxygen should be used. Gas masks can be single or double filtered. Never use a gas mask with a missing filter. If you have a single filter model, if you have a chemical mask with one filter, you must use a filter instead of both filters.
