Halloween has its origins in ancient pagan and Christian traditions. It is believed to have first appeared in Ireland. According to the tradition, the aim is to scare away the evil spirits who came to the world that day by wearing scary costumes.

The symbol of Halloween is a smiling pumpkin. After the pumpkin is hollowed out and carved in the form of a smiling face, a candle is lit inside to create a demonic face.
