There are four different types: field hockey on the grass, ice hockey on the ice, road hockey on the track and underwater hockey in the pool. In the game, a curved stick is the common feature of all four types of hockey. The general aim of the game can be summarized as getting the ball (or puck) into the opponent's goal using the sticks skillfully. The four types of hockey are distinguished from each other by the nature of the field on which the game is played and by whether the players play with their feet, ice skates, roller skates or fins on this field.
