The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are identical in design to their predecessors, the iPhone 13. The notch, which has shrunk with the iPhone 13 series, continues to appear on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 is built on a 6.1-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, while the iPhone 14 Plus is home to a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels. The panels on both phones are protected by a glass that Apple calls Ceramic Shield, which is highly resistant to drops and scratches.

The iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 screens, which have a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz, offer a maximum screen brightness of 800 nits in normal use, while it can reach 1200 nits brightness for HDR content.

The new 12 MP resolution front camera now has autofocus. In this way, by increasing the depth of field, you can get much clearer and higher quality images compared to previous models, even if you are closer or farther from the camera. Another improvement made on the front camera is the reduction of the f / 2.2 aperture value to f / 1.9. Thus, the iPhone 14 front camera can take 49% brighter photos under low light.
