The human mouth, with its everted lips, has a unique place among living things. This organ, which has functions such as eating, drinking, talking and kissing, may have been identified with food and then became an action that triggers pleasure because its sensitivity increased. It is also of great importance in eating and speaking. It aids speech by ensuring the proper use of the air coming out of the lungs. We make p, b and m sounds by joining the two lips, and f and v sounds by touching our lower lip to the upper teeth.
