Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, made her comic book debut with X-Men #4 in 1964 with her sister Quicksilver. These two characters, about whom we do not know much, later became well-known in Marvel's comic book universe and became so strong. We had the opportunity to take a look at these two characters in the MCU, but after the recent WandaVision series, the curiosity about who Wanda Maximoff is actually and how she was introduced in the comics increased. Let's get rid of this curiosity together...

Wanda and her sister Pietro are powerful mutants. When these two characters debuted in 1964 with X-Men #4, they became involved in Magneto's evil and destructive plans, as they each owed a life debt. Afterwards, the name of the team behind these plans began to be known as the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The team was actually as bad as its name and as strong as its name, but no matter how hard they tried, they failed in their plan to defeat their main goal, the X-Men. And in order not to spoil our team, which is full of defeats, Magneto gives Wanda and Pietro brothers the message "I am your father" and our duo begins to trust Magneto.

While the process of all these evil plans is going on, one day Magneto is kidnapped by an extraterrestrial entity and our duo (Wanda and Pietro), who does not want to be involved in the dark business by taking advantage of the opportunity, join the Avengers in order to clean up this evil stain. It is understood that Wanda, whose powers are actually thought to be energy manipulation, actually has a power called "Chaos Magic", among other unknown powers. And we learn that this power comes from a powerful being called Chthon at the time of his birth.

During her time in the Avengers, Wanda learns that Magneto is not her real father and falls in love with Vision, another member of the team, and the two of us get married shortly after. The society still thinks that Wanda will never be happy because she accepts her father as Magneto, and she finds the last resort to have a child from Vision by using the chaos magic.
