Sea Shell

Molluscs are boneless and soft-bodied sea creatures. Their exoskeleton, which is a protective, hard layer covering their bodies, is called seashell.

A certain process goes through for the formation of seashells. Cells develop themselves by growing with calcium. These shells, which are formed as a result of the combination of carbonate and protein, have a texture with a high mineral content. The structure that secretes proteins and minerals from the inside helps the formation of the shell.
