The evil wizard Gargamel, the scourge of the Smurfs, creates a group of Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties. Again, his only goal is to reach the Smurf essence that will make him very strong. But he realizes that the essence of a real, but not artificial, Smurf will come in handy. What's more, Smurfette knows a spell that no one else knows, which managed to turn these evil creatures into real Smurfs. When Gargamel finds out about this, he immediately chases Smurfette and kidnaps her to Paris. In Paris, the world recognized him as a very successful magician, loved by millions.
