Due to the heat of the sun, resources such as lakes and rivers on the earth evaporate and rise to the atmosphere. Water vapor, which is lighter than the density of atmospheric air, forms clouds. After the evaporating water reaches a certain height, depending on the cooling of the environment, the gaseous water freezes to form snow particles. The higher the sea level in a region, the more snowfall is seen in that region.

Snow

Snow, which is created due to the encounter of water particles with freezing, is a form of precipitation. It happens quickly that water particles turn into snow without turning into rain.

Mountainous hilly regions are more suitable for snowfall. Snow, called lake effect snow, is formed in mountainous rough places. In Europe and America, lake effect snowfall is observed.
