Superhero Robin

Robin is the pseudonym of several fictional superheroes who appear in American comics published by DC Comics. The character was originally created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and Jerry Robinson to serve as a minor counterpart to the superhero Batman. Dick Grayson, the character's first incarnation, debuted in Detective Comics #38 (April 1940). Designed as a way to attract younger readers, Robin garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews, doubling sales of Batman titles. Robin's early adventures included Star Spangled Comics #65–130 (1947–1952), the character's first solo feature film. Robin appeared regularly in Batman-related comics and other DC Comics publications from the 1940s until the early 1980s, when the character Robin abandoned his identity and became the standalone superhero Nightwing. The Batman and Robin team is often referred to as the Cloaked Crusaders or Dynamic Duo.
