Superman is a superhero who appears in American comic book published by DC Comics. Superman was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster and debuted in the comic book Action comics. The name of Superman’s home city, Metropolis, was taken from the 1927 film of the same name. The name is Clark Kent.
