Thor/Donar is the Marvel Comics superhero version of Thor, the Norse god of lightning. He first appears in a different design, as a side character, in the 11th issue of the Venus comic in 1950. He then appeared as the main character with his final design in the 83rd issue of the Journey into Mystery series in 1962. Furthermore, he is the prince of Asgard. He is the son of Odin. His weapon is the magic hammer Mjollnir. According to the narrative of the comic, Ragnarök has happened many times and the gods have been reborn from the beginning. Thor finally breaks this cycle and brings Asgard and his descendants to Earth. He is friends and allies with many superheroes and gods from different Pantheons.
