Warm and moist air on the ocean surface begins to rise rapidly. Then, as the warm air rises, the water vapor in it condenses to form storm clouds and raindrops. Condensation then creates a heat called latent heat of condensation. Finally, the heat warms the air above and causes it to rise, resulting in hurricanes.
