One of the planets in the solar system. Since the view of the earth from space is blue, the earth is also called the blue planet in the space language.

This blueness is the result of the oxygen in the atmosphere and the spectrum of sunlight. This blueness also shows that the only place in the universe with living things is the earth. Earth is the third largest planet from the sun. It rotates along an ellipsoidal orbit at a distance of 149,589,000 km from the sun. One revolution around the sun is defined as a solar year and is 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds. From this turn, seasons emerge.

It is in the shape of a watermelon flattened from the poles. Copernicus (1540) and Galileo (1640) were the first to explain from the Europeans that the world was round. Great Islamic scholars, for example, Biruni, proved that the world was round and round long before that. Nureddin Batruci, a professor of astronomy at the Islamic University of Andalusia, describes today's astronomy in his book El-Hayat, written in 1185. Many Europeans studied at Andalusia Universities and tried to spread science to Europe.
