Hammock PNG
The hammock is a product developed in pre-Columbian Latin America. It is still actively used for accommodation in that region and its surroundings. In fact, in some villages, especially in the Amazons, hammocks are used instead of beds.
Although many people think that it is a tradition, the exact origin of the hammock, which is actually born out of necessity, is unknown. The word hammock comes from Hamaca, which means fishing net, but also represents the name of the tree from which the hammock is made. According to a belief, it is a solution developed by locals who go fishing to stay away from snakes and reptiles in the area.
