The flag of Spain consists of three horizontal stripes. It has two red bands above and below, and a large yellow band in the middle. On the left side of the yellow stripe is a royal crest. The coat of arms is divided into four. There are two Greek columns on the sides. The columns represent the regions of Gibraltar and Cueta. There are ornate writing on two columns. It reads "Plus Ultra" in Latin. The four parts of the coat of arms represent royalty in different ways. Located in the middle of the coat of arms in the form of an oval with a blue border, it represents the Spanish royal family Bourbon.
